RE: Staatsversagen: Ein unterschätztes Phänomen / State Failure: An Underestimated Phenomenon

Actually this writer is telling the truth. Many government agencies do not share knowledge from top to bottom. Sometimes when one officer is absent he does not even have the knowledge to perform the duties of an officer who does not come to the other officer.

Many politicians are joining a power struggle today. They are not thinking about voters. it's just about the politicians.

Sort:

Democracy being so futile?

Being reminded of the fence we have in our minds, I often feel we are compared to cattle. Farmers provide health care etc. Fiscal politics. It's like laying eggs or exchanging your valuable time for money. All in the name of inefficient central planing?

The violent and coercive force applied by by authoritarian conduct and their implications as well as questionable measures are often ignored because they become the prevalent custom.

Being only familiar with the current system only very few question these dogmatic impositions. Why? If we are conditioned as citizens to abide to such rules and they deem the contrary chaos, then no one would question or even consider that there might be alternatives. Scientifically at least, there were philosophers and economists that did after the second world war. Just no one would listen to them.

You are right. "Politics is the last refuge of the scoundrel. " -George Bernard Shaw’s

The hierarchy of following orders and officers seems to be a measure of control. the combination of media injects fear of misconduct into the system. It exerts control. For the peaceful side of humanity it feel more like someone is holding a branch restricting the tree to reach light by itself.
