Manavgat

Manavgat ist ein Fluss in der türkischen Provinz Antalya. Sein antiker griechischer Name ist Melas. Der Manavgat Fluss zählt mit seinen 90 Kilometern zu den längsten unterirdisch fließenden Gewässern der Welt und ist gleichzeitig einer der bedeutendsten Flüsse, deren Wassermassen aus nur einer Quelle gespeist werden. Das traumhafte türkisgrüne Wasser ist sehr sauber und klar, dazu ist es sehr reich an Mineralien. Man kann daher problemlos tauchen und schwimmen. Den Fluss kann man mit sämtlichen Arten von Booten befahren wie z. B. mit einem Katamaran, Kanu oder einem Schnellboot. Außerdem beheimatet der Fluss sehr viele Fisch & Vogelarten (Forellen, Karpfen, Meeräschen, Barsche, Enten, Gänse, Wasserhühner, Eisvögel, Möwen und Süßwasserschildkröten) daher eignet sich der Manavgat hervorragend um zu Fischen . Desweiteren bieten sich einige Möglichkeiten direkt am Ufer, in sehr schönen Ambiente zu Speisen.

Manavgat is a river in the Turkish province of Antalya. His ancient Greek name is Melas. The Manavgat River, with its 90 kilometers, is one of the longest underground waters in the world and at the same time one of the most important rivers, whose water masses are fed from one source only. The gorgeous turquoise water is very clean and clear, and it is very rich in minerals. It is therefore easy to dive and swim. The river can be used by all kinds of boats such. B. with a catamaran, canoe or a speedboat. In addition, the river is home to many fish and bird species (trout, carp, mullet, perch, duck, geese, water hens, kingfishers, seagulls and freshwater turtles), which makes the Manavgat ideal for fishing. Furthermore, there are some possibilities right on the shore, in very nice ambience to food.
