As most of you know, or will soon know ;-) I love beer and I love meat.
So what’s better than to combine both in one meal!? 😃
So my foodie steemians, in this sense i wish you a mouthwatering welcome :-)
DE:
Also meine Feinschmecker Steemianer, in diesem Sinne wünsche ich euch einen leckeren Willkommensgruß :-)
EN:
If you already wondered in the headline above what Magicdust Rub rub could be ...
... a rub is a dry spice mixture that is spread on the grilled meat and massaged on. Pictures from the production will follow down above ;-)
DE:
EN:
First, let's see what the rub consists of:
1/2 cup paprika powder (mild)
1/4 cup salt
1/4 cup powdered sugar
2 tsp. Mustard powder
1/4 cup chilli powder
1/4 cup cumin (Cumin)
2 teaspoons of ground black pepper
1/4 cup garlic powder
2 tsp cayenne pepper
*Of course you can also buy the mixture ;-)
💡Very important at this point. There are many variations of the recipe. If you prefer a little hoter, then take a little more cayenne pepper. The recipe can vary greatly trough you.
DE:
1/2 Tasse Paprikapulver (mild)
1/4 Tasse Salz
1/4 Tasse Puderzucker
2 TL Senfpulver
1/4 Tasse Chilipulver
1/4 Tasse Kreuzkümmel (Cumin)
2 TL schwarzer Pfeffer gemahlen
1/4 Tasse Knoblauchpulver
2 TL Cayennepfeffer
*Selbstverständlich könnt ihr die Mischung auch kaufen ;-)
💡Sehr wichtig an diesem Punkt.
EN:
At this point another little tip, if you have e.g. Mustard seeds or whole cumin seeds, then you can grind this in the mortar by your self, or crush them well with a stick blender to powder. (As in my gif graphic.)
DE:
EN:
That's how the magicdust looks pretty good! It is time to mix and spread this over the meat!
Then you rub him in really deep into the chicken. Just like if you would massage your partner ;-) 💛
DE:
EN:
In the meantime you can solve the label of the beer bottle.
💡This is especially good with warm water.
DE:
EN:
And now we come to the most important part :-) put the bottle directly into the chicken.
Hell why? Because the chicken remains through the liquid super nice tender and soft and does not dry out under any circumstances. (By the way, you can also take malt beer or non-alcoholic beer) - but then you do not get the original beer chicken taste :-)
💡By the way, I take a small casserole dish, then you have not later such a heavy mess by the fat on the baking sheet!
DE:
EN:
From now on (180 ° in the oven) ...
... you have about 1 - 1.5 hours of time ... just enjoy the smell, or surf on steemit ;-)
DE:
EN:
Yes, and then it was again. Pictures speak more than words
DE:
Ja und dann wars auch schon wieder. Bilder sprechen mehr als Worte

Tolles Rezept.

Dang that's a lot of chickens. I used a rotisserie like that before but never with so many, we usually had hams on there too for bar-b-que as well.
This chicken looks so tender and juicy! I need to try this one out. I tried with a beer can on a BBQ but the results were not good...
Hey Buddy! I made this several times in the oven. And it was always perfect...
Never had this done on a bbq grill. So I don’t know what could go wrong 😂 perhaps all 😂... the heat in the oven is more steady all-over 👌
Posted using Partiko iOS
Nein Um gottes Willen . Das ist nur Dekoration 😬. Und da sollte ich mal drüber nachdenken 👍💪🏼

Great technique @avizor, here in South Africa we often barbeque chicken on a kettle BBQ with lid but push a can of beer into the cavity, obviously after having a few sips first ;) Congrats on the curie upvote!
Thank you lizelle :-) with an kettle bbq sounds also an good idea. Unfortunately I don’t have one. And yes, I drink also some nips before ;-)

That picture of the beer bottle in the chicken is very disturbing ^^
Are you sure it's not just one of your fetishes =D lol
😋 a Little bit perhaps ;-)
Posted using Partiko iOS
I would love to try this and I would NEVER think to put the bottle in the chicken. This is the most memorable and creative recipe I have ever seen.
Thanks :-) than I’m proud that I can people something new! That’s the best on steemit. Alsways new things to learn 😀

I totally agree and that is why I am hooked!
Moin Uwe :-) jau stimmt, passt immer beides gut zusammen. 🍺😊👌

Wow looks delicious! Wanna to try it out! You made me hungry~~
Oh cool im glad that you hungry now ;-)
Posted using Partiko iOS
Wow, it must be very delicious. It's very special to put the bottle in and bake together.
Yep :-) but it’s also very simple 👌
Posted using Partiko iOS
You make my mouth watering. Especially saw you taste it. And I am hungry now .
When you mentioned chicken and beer. It cross my mind was mince and rub the beer to the chicken body. When I saw how you put the beer bottle inside the chicken, I like what....I never thought of that. And I must try it.
Thank you for walk through the steps on how to make it. I like the photos you took. It were great and it make me more hungry after go through your video and photos. I must try it this weekend.
Just try it :-) normally nothing should go wrong 😀 follow step by step and use a big oven, because chicken and bottle need much place. And then use the air circulation function (do no the correct word in English) not only heat from above, or bottom.
Posted using Partiko iOS
Yes, I definitely will try it. This is something new for me :)
howdy from Texas sir avizor! we love meat and beer here too so this was a great recipe! I've never seen a chicken prepared like this before with a beer bottle! lol.
But obviously it works and it looks wonderful! and the beer gives it a beer flavor?
and if it does, would wine work and give it a wine flavor?
Hey Buddy :-) thanks for stopping by here! Great that a real man from Texas likes my special beer chicken 😀 💪🏼... yes it gets at The and a little beer taste, but also the beer provides liquid to it, so it stays super juicy. Good question with the wine :-) looking forward that you try it out 😀
Posted using Partiko iOS
haha! no I'm not going to try it with wine but you have a winning formula in posting that way so next time you should try wine.
maybe it would be a disaster though! lol. anyway great post, the photos were so good that I could smell the chicken from here!
The gif images were enough to hook me in bookmarking this recipe. Good job on creating this yummy post. Coincidentally, there's enough ingredients available right now to make a first attempt on this recipe. Wish me luck and congratulations on the curie upvote :D
Haha cool im very glad you like it ! Have fun with this crazy chicken recipe buddy :-)

I think my husband would definitely love this recipe!
Hey darling! I bet of course he will 👌
Posted using Partiko iOS
My cousin does a variation on this with a tall can of beer instead of a bottle and his mixture is a little different but it is still amazing. I'm always surprised how the chicken comes out so tender every time and how it's just the presence of the beer (or similar things) can do that as opposed to normal baked chicken that comes out so dry >.>
Oh yes you are right, i forget to tell, the presence of beer is only a little touch. Good point ! Thank you!
... it gets so massive tender and juicy because of the liquid the -beer or an other drink of your choice provide . 😀✌️
Posted using Partiko iOS
@avizor, well You made me hungry haha . I always think that the best chefs are men. It looks so simple and I'm sure it's delicious. This bottle trick really works :). I've tried this method. Thank you! Very cool!
Great comment! Cool that someone else tested this methode ;-)
Yes it was very deli 😀🔥👌
Posted using Partiko iOS
And never a truer word was spoken. I've soon this method on tv before using a can of beer. Not sure if there is much of a difference. I've never tried it but do love meat and beer so i'm very tempted to try it. Especially after seeing your results here in the post.
Then you should definitely try this out :-) a can was a little to big for this little chicken a** ;-) ... so a bottle fits perfect 👌😀 stay tuned for more beer recipes later 😜

I'm not much of a cook in general but this looks nice and straightforward especially with the instructions so I will try it out. Someday when there are friends over I'll serve them a nice beer chicken.

Hello interesting recipe when i saw the title i was expecting something like fry chicken and beer, not a bottle of bear inside the chicken:)it does sounds delicious:)
Expect the unexpected 🤓 :-)
Oh yes it was also very delicious. Thanks for stopping by here ✌️

My husband makes beer can chicken but never seasons it with spices like this! Thanks for including the recipe for the spices, we are going to make it!
Hey thanks for stopping by. Yes with the right choice of spices it could taste much more better :-) Push yourself there slowly. Not all spices taste good to everyone.
I have found that I like more Puerto rican style flavors while my husband just coats everything in hot sauce regardless.

Looks so yummy! :)
Oh yes :-) it was also yummy ✌️

hahaha I bet!
This is one of the perfect recipe post i have seen in steemit. So, yummy looking spicy chicken
Wow thanks so much! That’s very big words from you! I’m glad you follow and that you like the chicken 🍗 recipe ✌️

I'm so glad I've bumped into your post. I've known this kind of technique but a bit differently. I knew it with a coca-cola glass filled with water and then placing a thick paper bad over the chicken. Must admit, I've never tried that one but people say it's working. Anyway, back to your recipe. I like it because it's not soaked in oil and it's "tender and soft and does not dry" as you say.
By the way, it looks like it's going to be a recipe day for me, this is the third one today!
Anyway, congratulations, I might try it one day but first I need a new oven.
Oh thanks for you lovely comment Erikah :-) the technique you describing sounds also interesting. I will think about this 👍.... haha yes and the oven has to have much space in it 😀
Posted using Partiko iOS
My pleasure, let me know if it works :)
Whoah! There is your another yummy recipe! Is it your aim to tease and make people drool on Steemit? Hahaha!
I am not a good cook but I thought that is like our chicken inasal (drunken chicken 😂). On another look, it seems not. You did not pour the beer to marinate the chicken, is it?
Oh yeah that’s definitely my aim :-) 😊
Ah yes. I forget this picture! Very good point. Yes a little bit. So it’s easy to rub the spices in. 👍
Posted using Partiko iOS
Too bad, I'm a terrible cook so I may keep drooling with your posts. Maybe some day I'll learn to do so. 😃
Hi @avizor, thank you for the recipe, I enjoyed very much your thorough description of the mix spices that is always a problem to get the right spices and in a good mixture. The chicken looked after Rub already so delicious :) The only this made me worried the bottle in cooker, and 180 Degree does the bottle survive that heat??? Or do you have a little explosure in cooker? I can imagine that the taste will be really delicious though that process and looking at you little video you are satisfied with the result.
Thank you for sharing your tip :)

Hey Buddy :-) i had done this recipes severel times and, also some friends. I never heard about a bottle that broken.
The bottle gets evenly heated from all sides, and I also open. So the beer can be pushed out into the chicken 🍗 :-).
And also thanks for you lovely comment 😀
Posted using Partiko iOS
Hey you used a bottle for you beer chicken. Didn't know it was possible and I thought you could only use beer can. Your rub , I think we have those ingredients here available. I'm a bit hesitant with the bottle thinking it might break but since it worked for you. Might as well give it a shot.
Hey Buddy ! Im glad you liked it. The bottle should not break because it’s evenly heated from all sides. And it’s also open so the beer will be pushed into the chicken :-) .... yes a can is also ok. But I think it’s a little to big for the chickens a** 🤣
Posted using Partiko iOS
It looks tender, soft and delicious. I was actually wondering what a rub is, but now I know... You sure do have some great techniques and trick us your sleeves to use in the kitchen
I would rather use to blender to crush those seeds than grins with a mortar, much more easier and faster... This is a great recipe to try..
Thank you :-) 😃

Awesome recipe man, it looked like you were enjoying it and you got curied on it. I think someone in the curie tower likes you. I wonder how well this does for your curie contest engagement score. I bet it's through the roof with 81 comments on a single post.....
Thank you :-) I’m glad you liked it. As we saw my commenting does not give any bonus to the contest 😀, but wish you the best for the next round 👌.
I think I'm retiring from the curie contest this week. It is extremely time consuming and I can't really keep up with all of it. It was fun just to show I could do it, but If I can spend that time doing something more productive I will be better off. I'm just going to hit the ones that come through my feed and as I explore and let it go at that.
Haha 😂✌️ Same for me here. This week no commenting from me...
