Grossmünster and Zwingli

Grossmünster, with its impressive twin towers, is one of Zurich's most famous landmarks and the great thing about it is that you can enjoy the beautiful view on one of the towers!

Huldrych Zwingli was the first Zürich reformer. From August to November 2019 there are larger-than-life Zwingli statues in all 12 city districts. They are part of the "Zwingli City 2019" project, in which Zwingli 500 years after the Reformation looks for a kind of dialogue with the people of Zurich.

Grossmünster ist mit seinen beeindruckenden Zwillingstürmen eines der bekanntesten Wahrzeichen der Stadt Zürich und das Tolle daran ist, dass man auf einem der Türme die schöne Sicht geniesen kann!

Huldrych Zwingli war der erste Zürcher Reformator. Von August bis November 2019 sind überlebensgrosse Zwingli-Statuen in allen 12 Stadtkreisen gestanden. Sie sind Teil des Projekts «Zwingli-Stadt 2019», in dem Zwingli 500 Jahre nach der Reformation gleichsam das Gespräch mit den Menschen der Stadt Zürich sucht.
