Hi, I'm not a vegan and came here for a different reason. Still, as I am here, a question: I see you use tofu, potatoes and so on. Since most of what is available nowadays is GMO, how do you deal with that problem - or don't you consider it a problem.
Reason for my visit: I saw that you upvoted me. I felt a small suggestion may be in order, since even those who are not looking to earn a living, enjoy the signs of success - high rep.
If you are going to upvote someone, leave a comment, just don't use the same message all the time. It is better that you do not upvote your own comment, as it then looks like you only made a comment to vote for yourelf. However, certain posters do like to say thank you for a vote and comment with an upvote in return, while others will grab the opportunity to check out your blog page - and that too can earn you upvotes.
Also, upvoting is nice, but if you do it too often each day, it becomes worth almost zero.
Hi there, happy that you notified me about the comment. I have had problems with my comments not being sent. Not sure if it's something to do with the page bugging. I need to keep a better track of what comments being sent or not :D.
It's really important for me to always comment and show appriciation for the posts I like and I never leave the same comment on any post.
There is a site where you can keep track of your steempower so I'm always checking that.
Now as for the soy and potatoes. 70-80% of the soy that is produced is fed to lifestock and the only soy I eat is produced in Europe and non-GMO.
And the only potatoes I eat is produced here in Sweden.
That makes you one really lucky person. I believe the best non-GMO soya beans are grown in Serbia. However, a lot of the people who will read your posts do come from countries where soya is 99% GMO, so if you are feeling kindly towards them, just add a small notice, warning them.
That is a great hint. We should be very careful with GMO products and with soya we always have to check if it is organic or not and where it is from. A great amount of soya can also influence our hormones, so eating soya every now and than can be alright, but on a daily basis soya is not the best source for valuable nutrients.
Thanks for taking the time to comment and give some tips @arthur.grafo !
That is a great hint as Niina said. I really appriciate you taking your time :)
