you are quiet an artist mate...keep it up

Thanks so much inviterx!

great piece of art

Wow, this is awesome stuff! Thanks for sharing some pictures of the process! Keep up the good work, and good luck with sticking to your deadlines! I know it can be frustrating/stressful, but you're doing some cool ass work and I think this will end up great!

many thanks for your encouragement, it's so appreciated!

Beautiful work, I just love the Mandala designs.🌀

Thanks so much, and it makes sense that these would appeal to you :-)

That's awesome! These designs would look incredible as part of a board game!

lol, I suppose so...in India they may have a Sri Chakra game board actually! These sacred geometries are pretty cool.

such a huge patience you should have to do such work! Well done!

Thanks so much @travelart, I appreciate your support!

Very beautiful and unusual... thanks for this look into your process! You must have a huge amount of patience, creating not only a work of art with so many small pieces... but also having to do so to fit into a particular space. I suppose it's all a matter of skill and practice... but still, very impressive!

thanks so much @reddragonfly, I sometimes think the fact that I love this work means I have a screw loose in my brain! It does take a lot of skill and practice, but I love the meditative quality of ceramics and sensuality of clay so much that I welcome it.

I know what you mean. I paint tiny painstakingly detailed mandalas on beach stones... and people say I must be nuts. And yet? I find it very meditative. Even after 10 years... which, I suppose, is testament to our having found our creative "callings."

yes! I'm going to take a look at some more of your posts to see these "crazy" rocks ;-)

This is great! Long shot, but have you ever worked with liquid resin?

Hi @boomben, thanks and no I haven't but I've seen some beautiful work in resin, why do you ask?

No worries thought I'd check. I've been working with it myself recently and have been struggling with a few things. Not an easy material. Project is here if you're interested- https://steemit.com/art/@boomben/vibrant-resin-artwork

Wow! What interesting work you are doing! Not only do you make art with each individual tile, but you get to create a giant piece of art with each backsplash and other project you do. Very interesting. I can't wait to see more.

Thanks so much for your interest and support @ekpickle, I really appreciate it!

Upvoted, resteemed, and now following! Awesome when I find another artist on here. I love the mandalas! Keep us updated! :)

thanks so much for stopping by my blog and deciding to stay, I really appreciate your support!

also, thanks for the resteem!!

I love that your art will be immortalized in someone's house and that it actually is part of the house. Beautiful.

thanks, yes I love that too and knowing that people will enjoy it for generations.

Love it! My girlfriend does pottery as well, I'll be showing her your work!

Great, love to see her work, is she here on steemit? we need more ceramics people here. @simonleach is another good one to check out

I'm trying to get her on here, but she doesn't really like social media too much. I'm showing her how steemit is different, so we will see!

ah yes, I know this conversation well!

Interesting job! I do not have such talents, but I'm curious! thank you

This is awesome!

I LOVE the intuition piece. It's fantastic.

thanks! I too love that one, it's unlike any I've seen. Although I have to admit, we just finished the Durga Yantra today and I'm totally in love with that one, so maybe I'll fall in love with each one. I'll be posting one at a time as they are complete over the coming weeks and you can let me know your favs, actually I'd really like to know!
Thanks for checking out my posts!

I will make a point to @natureofbeing. I'm really into orange as a colour these days and it looked like you have one that might have some orange in it. I am most excited to see the progression of that one. :)

that's the Durga one, I'm putting together a post on this right now;-)

Oh good! I'll be sure to watch for it.

Wow! This is beautiful! To be honest I never put much thought into how these tiles are made! Very interesting! I will have a new appreciation for custom tiles when I see them! Love it ❤️

This is amazing! The green tiles have such a gorgeous variation of depth of colour. They must be just stunning in person. I was also really impressed with the bits of information about the firing process and shrinkage. It's great to learn new things like this, and for them to come from someone who not only knows what they are doing, but does it with love.

what a nice comment, thank you! Love those green tiles too...they are going to be installed this week and I can't wait to see how they look in context.

I'm sure they will look amazing!

also love your handle thewoolynettle, so appropriate for a knitter :-), will hop on over and check out your blog

Thank you so much! My screen name comes from the name of my shop. I'll be open some time this fall once I get my stock sorted. I make spa cloths, face scrubbies, and such from sustainably sourced, 100% organic stinging nettle yarn, grown in the mountains of Nepal and hand processed by local women. I'm also making bath salts and lotions, along with some other knitted items from a variety of yarns. If all goes well I will carry items in banana fiber, hemp, yak, and sheep yarns next year. I source all of these from a sustainable co-op in Nepal, so they are pretty cool.

It's nice to see the process. Great work!!

I"m so glad to hear your feedback, thanks!
