What makes designers super.... updated and revised from a variety of sources. For me, humility is often overlooked. I know when I feel afraid of being judged or fear of failure, I often immediately take a defensive stance and push all that fear and underlying emotional pain deep down where no one can see it, not even myself. So then I'm hardly emotionally aware and the outcome is the opposite of humility - I'll hardly admit my limits, and frankly I can be highly arrogant. By my own experience and observing others, I know the impact of that - and it's definitely not great design approach or result! How does everyone's feel about that - is humility important for good design practice and working with teams? Here's something my colleague just shared from #ixd18 along the same lines: https://lnkd.in/fqRPKFE
