Malthus was a demon that was discovered in demonology, a form of pseudoscience. According to the legend, the demon was cast out of hell and into the main realm to curse those who are their targets. Malthus serves as a threat to those who lose their faith in Christianity. The demon was known to be powerfully reckless, yet it was afraid of the crucifix more than anything. Malthus thrives in the main realm after sucking out the soul of many of its' victims. Despite the demonic presence felt when he's around, the demon was always able to transform into a person while deceiving others.

The demon is known to suck out the soul of a person's flesh before using the person's body into targeting other victims. The body of the victim is known to serve as a vessel for the demon. Malthus was fairly intelligent and deceptive; he knew the people approaching him too well. Those who are known to be strong physically and mentally are the ones he would avoid targeting. However, Malthus is known to target the weak. Legend has it that the demon is telepathic, so he knew the weaknesses of every person he encounters. However, some would be easier targets than others.

Malthus usually targets the mentally disabled, emotionally vulnerable, and physically handicapped. He instantly recognizes their weaknesses and may act as the "savior" at first. He could instantly befriend the victim for days before acting out his malice. The targets would usually be secluded from others before he acts out ominously. By singling out the victim, the demon knows that they won't get help. The demon would usually brainwash the victims into pushing their loved ones away. After the demon had his pleasure in the vessel, he would leave with the victim committing suicide.

As harsh as it sounds, over 20 people had committed suicide after "losing their minds".
Two autistic boys, one mentally deranged elderly woman, five physically handicapped people, a young woman with anxiety disorder, four intellectually disabled people, two girls with ADHD, and five people with psychosis.

Its latest target was a young woman who lost her baby in a miscarriage. The demon transformed into the shape of the baby as the spirit, and it begged the woman to keep her forever. Having lost her sanity, the woman agreed to keep the spirit in her house. However, two weeks later, the spirit began meddling with her home. She died the night the house was lit up on fire. Of course, no police could find such evidence that it was a demon.

The demon is known to be the most vicious entity in the world, yet so few people believe it. However, there are many methods of fighting it off. They highly suggest one constantly attend church, not live secluded from the urban areas, live with other members in the family, and be healthier. The demon is like a virus that targets the sick, but it is afraid of healthy, strong Christians. By forming a faithful unity with others and the cross, the demon can be scared off. Protect the most vulnerable people by not marginalizing them, otherwise they could be the next victim!
