As I continue to work on my second book, I am researching demons. Many feel this is not a good thing, due to giving them your time and energy. However, I believe what Sun Tzu said.
“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.” Sun TzuWe must understand the wiles of the devil in order to resist. As I review books and content, there are many wiles, lies, and deceit being done.
One consistent aspect of demonic oppression and infestation is the legal right for them to do so. In nearly every deliverance video, the strongman (leader) must first be identified, and then bound to the remaining identified spirits.
These entities work in groups, where the victim is hit by all. I have yet to see a one-on-one attack. The leader (strong man) protects the lower entities, while the lower entities work against the victim.
I believe this is why Jesus mentioned tying up the strong man before entering his house.
“In fact, no one can enter a strong man's house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man's house.” – Mark 3:27
What is in a name?
There are many of these entities going by the same name. Their name appears to represent their purpose. This can be Anger, Lust, Hate, Jezebel, Satan, Lucifer, Queen of the Coast, ECT.
This is why I mention this in my upcoming book, Trauma.
“What name should I use?” Ral waited for the answer. Those in the hierarchy rarely provided their real names. If the names were leaked to the flesh-borns, then the humans would use that to their own advantage and have dominion over them. (Matt Cole, Trauma)
Deliverance
Once the leader has been successfully identified, the remaining group are identified. The group is then bound to the leader, along with any ailments or trauma caused. With the power of Christ, and the authority provided to Christians these entities are removed. The victim renounces their legal right to infest. Interestingly, much like vagabonds in unsecured homes, there are squatters. The entity may not have a legal right to inhabit, but hides.
The key is the victim to 1) identify the spirits (with the help of the deliverance) and 2) break any ties and legal rights to these spirits. 3) Expel these spirits, while closing any doors that may allow them in.
Closing the Doors
I have also learned Christians can have entities within. The reason is an open door may have occurred prior to being saved. When a person accepts Jesus as their savior, the individual spirit is saved. This still leaves the body and soul. Demonic spirits can still invest the body and soul of the victim.
There are three layers in a person.
- Body
- The physical body of the person.
- Soul
- The emotions, thoughts, and mind of the person.
- Spirit
- The eternal spiritual aspect of the person.
The doors to allow the entities to habitat are the use of occult, trauma done on the victim through abuse, curses applied to the victim, and other means.
Conclusion
This study has opened my eyes on many truths. Once we begin to understand these entities, the physical world appears different. Our perception is altered.
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” – Ephesians 6:12This means the individual abusing you, mistreating you, is most likely afflicted and do not understand they are being used by these entities. While our desire is to return the pain, the reality is that individual is also a victim.
However, if an abuse of any kind is occurring, we must stop that abuse physically.
