This may be common knowledge ..
But if not, here comes some!
My lil-buddie @free2play used the amazing app Vessel (by the AMAZING @jesta) to delegate 100% of his STEEM Power to me! He's not around much these days and thought .. what the heck!?
Well .. this had the unfortunate side-effect of rendering his account completely useless! :-)
He could not REDEEM REWARDS
He could not POWER UP STEEM
NO ESCAPE!?
Thankfully you can send STEEM POWER directly to other users!
SELECT THE POWER UP OPTION .. and CHOOSE ADVANCED!
IN THIS DIALOG YOU CAN SEND YOUR STEEM TO ANY OTHER USER, DIRECTLY TO THEIR STEEM POWER!
VOILA! @free2play is back in "business" .. the broke-ass chump! ;-)

Hi @Kurtbeil,
I think it's a small platform software problem. A few months ago a friend had to withdraw all his steem power to pay medical debts and found the situation that the last withdrawal froze the account, just like it happened to @free2play. In his case he had more than a month without being able to use his account until he requested the help to solve it, for which he made a generous donation of 20 steem.
I think the platform should always force the minimum necessary so that the account can be kept active. It is an important suggestion, because not everyone knows what to do in this situation.
Reestemed to help disseminate information.
have a nice day!
Cheers @rach .. appreciate the added-value comment and support!
