Early May, last month, I got a 500 SP delegation from @ejemai. I made a request comment on his post alongside numerous others, on why I should be given the delegation, and luckily I got selected.

From the delegation post he made, tons of entries came in from people who made similar request for consideration. After @ejemai and @mosunomotunde went through the entries for the purpose of screening and selection, they ended up with a list of 12 minnows selected for the 500 SP delegation each, making it a total of 6000 SP delegation given out.
Luckily, I made it to the list. "Luckily!", because there were a few other wonderful entries who didn't get picked at the end. So I considered myself as lucky as the Biblical Paul. I least expected it.
Some of the things I listed to achieve with the SP delegation included;
- curation of contents with upvotes and comments
- continuation of POHI project
- Increase in SP
- Increase in the no. of followers
- Increased reputation
So far, so good, I was able to achieve all of the following above, during the one month duration period of the delegation despite my tight school schedule.
During the past month, with the help of the SP delegation from @ejemai, I was able to curate several posts from minnows and dolphins, more of the minnows. I was also able to grow my Steem power from 38 to 167, in addition, my reputation level has grown from 50 to 53.
The number of followers has increased from 332 followers to 665 followers (over 300 increase in number).

Finally, I was able to launch another phase of the POHI project in collaboration with a couple of friends, where books, writing biros, school uniforms, drinks and snacks were distributed to over 100 school pupils in a rural community. Here's link to the PROJECT for more details.

I failed to organize a contest during the delegation period as I had promised. I guess this is the only promise I didn't keep as regarding the delegation. And I would do that soonest.
Why Did I Make This Post?
This is to say thank you to @ejemai for the SP delegation, it went a long way. I didn't take it for granted.
I'm making this post also for the purpose of self-evaluation and accountability.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do same. -M. Williamson
Thank you once again @ejemai, you gave me an opportunity to shine my own light and I am extremely grateful.
You did very well bruv! Proud of you. I'm sure @Ejemai would love to read this. A grateful heart will always get rewarded even more. I like the way you were able to articulate your achievements with the SP delegation. That you were able to give back to the community during this time was fantastic too. Keep doing what you do!
#bigwaves.
I'm more than encouraged by this remarks of yours. Yeah, you're right, it's not easy to embark on projects in a time like this, considering the dwindling state of steem price, but we'll keep on doing what we can to help someone. Thank you @mosunomotunde for everything
