A strategy for hodling DeepOnion

in #deeponion7 years ago

I’ve seen it happen. A few years ago a friend of mine bought his first bitcoins. He bought 15 for +/-10 dollars each. He told me he had seen a lot of articles about the bitcoin and he believed in it. He tried to convince me. Telling me I had to put some money in it, cause it would be worth a lot more within a few years. I was stubborn and I declared him nuts. I told my friend I’d rather put my 10 dollar in a good beer than in an intangible currency. He laughed at me and I laughed even harder at him.

I should’ve listen to this good old friend. I should’ve bought and hold some of these bitcoins. I’m not going to say I’ve made a mistake cause I wasn’t aware of the future power of this cryptocurrency. I just wasn’t interested.

Now, years later, his actual worth of bitcoins is around $90.000,-. He just bought himself a NEW speedboat (!!) for only $80.000,-. I asked him why he did that and he said: I just bought a boat for 150 bucks. I didn’t get it, but now I understand what he was trying to tell me.

Now since a month I’ve been looking to invest in cryptocurrencies too. Another friend of me is doing this as well and I think this is a good time for me to get in to it. He attended me to buy some cryptocurrencies too. I can guarantee you, I didn’t laugh this time. I went straight home, opened up my computer and made my first wallet. It was a DeepOnion wallet. People will wonder why would DeepOnion be my first cryptocurrency?

Well that’s because my friend attended me to buy these coins and I trust him. He talked about the DeepOnion. He told me the stories about why this is potentially one of the newest big upcoming cryptocurrencies. He seems to believe in the DeepOnion currency and I’m not going to let this happen a second time, I immediately bought my first onions. Now I’m the proudest owner of 86 DeepOnions, I bought them for +/- $0.60 each. I’ve spend around $45,-.

There’s one thing of interest I’ve learned by my good old friend: the 86 DeepOnions I bought, will always be the 45 dollars I’ve invested. By thinking this way, reduces the need of selling it if the price is rising. Even if the DeepOnion would be worth $400 each someday, it will be 45 dollars in my opinion.

Just hold and be patient, it will pay off in the future.

Over and out.
