While on my quest to qualify for Deep Onions Airdrop I ran into a few roadblocks with the Bitcointalk forum’s membership procedures. There are several ways to get banned on the Bitcointalk forum and finding a list of clear cut rules can be quite challenging. These fouls are generally harmless to the BCT member making the post and the BCT member breaking the rules probably won’t know that they are breaking rules until they receive a message. Receiving and preserving your BCT rank to qualify for DeepOnions Airdrop takes time and extensive research. In effort to save you time I’ve decided to list the top 3 ways of getting banned on the BCT forum.
Making low quality post. You may ask how does BCT qualify low-quality post? Mentioning anything close to the phrases in the examples below may get you banned. Hopefully it will be a short 7 day ban but why test the waters. BCT is infamous for banning accounts without notice and saying the correct phrases are very important to keep your account active so that you don’t have to go through the daunting experience of getting banned.
Examples "Responding saying you are tweeting, following, liking "Mentioning you are expecting to get (anything of monetary value)", "Saying joined (group or forum)”, “thanking someone for the prospect", "saying you completed a form", "mentioning you’ve signed up for a product ", "saying you have completed an application"
Responding with short sentences and minimal characters. Try responding with at least two sentences so that you are adding quality content to the forum. One word or one sentence responses may be flagged and your BCT account will be banned. See examples:
Bad Example: DeepOnion to moon.
Good Example: DeepOnion has high prospects of being a top contender in the anonymous cryptocurrency space. I’m keeping an eye on uptrends for this coin.
Adding links to external websites. It may come across as spam or that you are trying to promote a product if you decide to post random links.
Example: Hey check out my site ww.x4565426.com
Example: This link works ww.x45678456.com
If you’re unsure about a potential post it’s better to not post or to do a quick google search to check for others experiences with similar post on BCT forum.
