Today @julesplaschke and I arrived in Menton, a lovely small town close to the Italian border and Monaco.
Despite a terribly stressful arrival and drive down the hills to the city, it was excellent. There are colorful buildings covering the coastline and up through the hills, with plenty of beaches and cozy seaside restaurants.
There are lots of old narrow streets spiraling up the hills with a very medieval atmosphere, ending at a basilica overlooking the harbor and hillside where this picture was taken.
A beautiful town in beautiful surroundings!
