Obelisk ASIC Miner (Decred and Siacoin)

 Hello friends today I will give you information about ASIC minerals produced by "obelisk" company. The  first company that comes to mind when you know the ASIC miner is  Bitmain, but the recent output of crypto money has led many companies to  make ASIC chip production for production. This, of course, also means device sales for the ASIC manufacturer.

It consumes around 500W of energy. It's not very loud (according to Antminer). It's a bit heavy at 20 pounds. The Power Supply is integrated with the power supply. 

 ASIC  chips are generally preferred technology for algorithms that support  ASIC chips because they are made cheaply (they need to be  technologically advanced) and even because they are made even cheaper  than FPGAs and because they are more energy efficient. So  until better found, I think mining equipment for coins with all ASIC  technology supporting algorithms will continue to be produced with these  ASIC chips. Algorithms such as SHA-256, Scrypt, and X11 support ASIC chips and the new blake algorithm supports this. But algorithms such as ETHASH and EQUIHASH (Dagger Hashimoto) -based algorithms only support GPU technology. So we can not use ASIC devices when digging Ethereum, Monero, Zcash. As  mining equipment produced with ASIC chips increase mining difficulties  in the advanced stages, the efficiency of the devices is very low during  the period of operation. Now 14ths Antminer S9 devices may not even be able to pay even the electricity fee in January 2019. Some of the new devices supported by the SHA-256 algorithm have a 16ths and 18ths hash rate.
