Decentralized 2018 - Blockchain Summit: CEO of Greek University Presents World's First Master's Degree in Digital Currency!

Mr. Antonis Polemitis, Chief Executive Officer of the University of Nicosia (UNIC) and EDEX will be speaking at Dencentralized 2018 conference, 14th – 16th November @ Divani Caravel, Athens, Greece – representing the university of Nicosia, a new world leader in cryptocurrency education - offering an MSc in Digital Currency.

The first MSc programme of its kind, this is an exciting development and evidence of the ever increasing demand for academic knowledge in digital currency. The course is internationally accessible due to the great advantage of distance learning and aims to provide students with a detailed understanding of the technical foundations of digital currency. Students will have opportunity to explore the ways cryptocurrencies will interact in future with our current financial systems, including the many opportunities that exist for innovation in digital currency systems. The first class in the degree pathway, Introduction to Digital Currency, is available for free as an open enrollment, MOOC-like course, to anyone interested in learning more about the fundamental principles of digital currency.

The remaining 8 courses are offered at €1,600 per course, bringing the total tuition fees for the programme to €12,800.

It looks like the course covers a variety of important and relevant topics in relation to blockchain, money, cryptocurrency, banking and technology.

The module list (below) for the course definitely shows how this course will fill the gap in education regarding blockchain technology and I'm sure that those who graduate will find themselves in high demand.
