Dear Minnow (part 39): Steemit Rituals (THINGS YOU SHOULD DO ONCE YOU LOGIN TO STEEMIT EVERYDAY!)

in #dearminnow7 years ago

Dear Minnow,

Many People just come to Steemit to dump articles/posts and disappear into oblivion until another day they want to post again. That's very poor practice and it won't take you anywhere on Steemit and beyond. You must do some things that get you ready so that you can be in the best situation to make awesome posts and get noticed for it.

1- Check Replies To Your Post/Comments:

  • You MUST reply people that comment on your blog if you want everlasting success. Don't leave 20 comments ureplied. Its so bad a practice. Nobody likes to talk to someone and not get a reply from the person.

2- Check Your Feeds For Important Posts To Upv & Comment:

  • You MUST check your feeds. This will help you read other people's posts and comment on it. I'm not talking about the "nice post" comments. That's spam the last time I checked.
  • Read the post and leave a valuable comment that the person will never forget. If you do this frequently, the gods of commenting are going to smile on you pretty soon.
  • Someone will definitely checkout your blog and even upvote your posts just for that.

3- Check Your Blog For Upvotes On Your Post (Smiles):

  • This is the part y'all want to see. Yeah! It counts too.
  • You can even check who and who upvoted you incase you wanna find patterns. Lolx.
  • Even if its not much, smile and keep working hard.

4- Check Your Wallet For Reward You Need To Claim:

  • Yeap. You have to claim your rewards before they enter your wallet.
  • So many newbies don't know this. It should also be one of your morning rituals.

5- Go Say "Hi-Hello" To Your Steemian Friends On DISCORD, WHATSAPP, Telegram or any other place where Steemians are gathered:

  • The community is the fun in Steemit.
  • You must interact within and without steemit. Make friends. Go for meetups and grow together.

6- Finally, Make Your Own Posts:

  • Ahem! When you have done all the above then you are now ready to drop you own post.
  • It should gain some momentum naturally because of these.
  • Make sure your content is a knockout always. So that anyone that comes to your blog will have to hit the UPVOTE, COMMENT, RESTEEM & FOLLOW buttons...

The ball is now in your court. Do with it whatever you will...

CHEERS!

Exactly @ishotz. I'm glad you have the right mindset. Its so sad to see people mistreat their own blogs yet they complain about earnings.

Steemup Delta was a huge success.
See my post on it on my timeline.

As for the nice post comment, I'm a little guilty
I'm learning a lot about crypto on steemit and some post are really educative, sometimes it's difficult to digest all at once and other times i have no idea about the subject matter but making comments like "i found this helpful" or "this was quite informative", or "I'm learning a lot" do dey fall under the nice post category?

They do because they are non-specific gibberish that could be said to almost anyone on almost any post. Its better to leave good comments, contribute to the topic. Add your own opinion. Ask a question. Its better than all those nice post and the likes of it.

Cheers!

Alright, I'll have to learn more then
Thanks

Very useful advice for everyone who wants to make it on Steemit. I hope people take the advice. :)

Yeah bro @flauwy. Alot of newbies get these all wrong and then wonder why success seems too far. Thanks for reading man. Cheers!

At first I wanted to do the "post-and-disappear" act but I realized how much I actually need to be here, not just to upvote and leave comment but also for the interaction with people outside my normal small circle. I definitely need more posts like this

Alright bro @stanleyc-md. Drop "post and disappear" doesn't work on STeemit. You and your fans must grow together for everlasting success to happen. Cheers!

#AIR-CLINIC
