# Dear @TeamHumble // 29th July 2018 // Mission Moms Birthday: Accomplished :D

Phew! Been in the door about 10 minutes and damn it’s all hitting me how beat I really am, nearing 10k steps and lots of time in the sun but we had a good time and I know it meant a lot to mom so that’s what matters. :)

I’m ready to get back into hustle mode tomorrow though after I’m settled at the house. If I can get to bed in the next hour that’s a solid 8 hours and then I’ll have a good hour or two of modding I can do before I have to leave to be at pump’s house for her breakfast. Sorry I guess I’m still in logistics mode…

The 3 Things I’m Grateful for Today are…

• time outside with nature
• time with brother and Mom
• a little space for “me” time to recharge starting tomorrow

It couldn’t come at a better time. I really need that chill down, to regroup- get back on my meal prep and start thinking about what I want to make for my next 2 meals, but that can wait till Wednesday. Tomorrow is for decompressing, and of course doggo loves.

Speaking of doggo loves, Bogey ABSOLUTELY lost it when he saw Joey, I shouldn’t believe it. I mean 10x the excitement for me. It was super sweet to watch… we picked Mom up and went exploring in this outdoor art space, it’s totally free to the public and it’s a place dedicated to all faiths as a neutral space to come meditate. You would have loved it there, I really want to take you.

We did our walks through and decided we were all getting pretty hungry so we went to the Farm/Apple Orchard for lunch, live music and to hang out with the goats and chickens. It was like real life Stardew over there, and crazy how much they’ve built that place up since I was a kid, with craft brews on tap, a whole market and up the hill they have a brand new Cidery. We were all so full after lunch that we didnt have any drinks but they did have a beet and ginger one that looked Fire.

We climbed the hill up a bit from the bar and sat the three of us on three adirondack lounge chairs. Mom kicked her sandals off and Joey fell asleep, it was really quite sweet. After awhile I noticed my phone was dead so I took the hike back to the car to get my battery pack and drove it back up to pick them up.

Mom met this group of girls who were all young hairdressers and she waved me over because of my blue. It was so sweet to see her giving them career advice, she’s had her license 45 years…. talk about legacy...

The ride home was relaxed with brother, we listened to a podcast, I could tell he was exhausted, and I’m feeling it now too all the miles driving, the logistics the time in the sun, but like I said it was all worth it… all I could think of was banking in my memory all the things up here I’d love to show ya… and how much fun I know we’d have drinking Ciders up on that hill.

You really were on my mind all day. I was present, don’t get me wrong, but I felt like a bit of you was with me, because my mind was playing out all the alternate versions of our days together, and it had me smiling to myself all day.

I guess that’s how you know right? It’s just not the same without you love. Thankful I’ve found that, that I found you!
