Thinking of playing dCrops?

This is for those that like buying packs to start a farming game at a minimal cost and don't really want to be to overwhelmed by too many info for a game that has been live for a few years now that includes many updates done and some info in the "whitepaper" or "wiki" may or may not updated.

dCrops has now introduced their Starter Packs. For $5.00 (payable via HIVE, SWAP.HIVE and HBD), you can get 1 seed NFT from each of the 4 seasons (Winter, Spring , Summer and Fall). They are all soulbound. once you purchase the pack, it will automatically be added to your inventory. Every pack also has a bundle consumable items that should help you with the game. These are: 20 Mystery Seeds (you can plant them on any season and it will sprout a random seed for that season); 20 Speed-Gro (shortens seed maturity 10%-50% on a specific plot of land; and 20 Ferti-Plus (doubles the probability of getting a 3* and 2* crops upon harvest for the land that it was applied to).

So that means for every $5.00 (27.215 SWAP.HIVE) Starter Pack you purchased, you get:
4 soulbound seed NFTS for each season (Artichoke, Clover, Bok Choy, Asparagus - 1 produce of 5 Shares per season)
20 Mystery Seeds - (40 CROP each in the shop - 800 CROPS = 4.48 SWAP.HIVE)
20 Speed-Gro - (30 CROP each in the shop - 600 CROPS = 3.36 SWAP.HIVE)
20 Ferti-Plus - (25 CROP each in the shop - 500 CROPS = 2.8 SWAP.HIVE)
*Assuming at the time of posting the rate of 1 CROP = 0.00559980 SWAP.HIVE)

Additional Perks (including the latest update released last October 25, 2024)
For your 1st Starter Pack purchased, aside from the items above, you will also receive your own Starter Land NFT (Where the seeds will be planted) and Fully Built Cooking Pot (Recipe to be announced in the incoming Halloween Event; this requires 30 Gas per use, there is no reduction in cooking time and no special abilities). Both are still soulbound.

For the 2nd pack purchase, you will still receive a Starter Land NFT (soulbound) and a Blueprint of the Cooking Pot (this is the only item in the starter pack that is not soulbound).

3rd pack onwards, you will only get the Blueprint of the Cooking Pot.

Dev states that there are plans to add more NFTs to the starter pack as the game grows. The fully built and blueprint Cooking Pot was one those for now.

It is best to buy at least 2 packs to maximize the 2 free Starter Land like I did. Still debating whether to buy more. :)

So... the $10.00 (54.43 SWAP.HIVE) that you spent would actually give you at least 58.472 SWAP.HIVE worth of assets at the current market prices. Not bad for starting a chill farming game.
