RE: Salty about DASH Pre-proposals process

in #dash8 years ago

I remember thinking the same thing when I saw the proposal come up and with so much backing already. Why?

I remembered a previous proposal (maybe yours) where everyone was saying this is not what we need. That Evolution will replace it in a few months. I guess Brett Clanton did a better job selling the idea plus he pushed around some impressive credentials. Just goes to show, sometimes it's who you know that gets you the job.

And he's not even going to do anything more than a craigslist style listing. No wallets, no escrow. He doesn't even know his legal repercussions yet? He admitted he just started doing the research.

I'm venting here some too. Sorry. I did not vote yes for his proposal.

jza, don't give up yet and keep pursuing your ideas!!

Yeah I am just confused about how to get community attention since there is really not a clear way to get it. I understand most of the funding is really to have a MVP (minimum viable product) and not a whole full research and company 2-year plan with an ICO and such. Also in the end will benefit the network more than the individual, 2k is not much to ask at all.
So I know he is just strictly considering funding the code, not the legal research or anything in between for the meantime. Which I think is ok, I am just confused nobody seems to notice the previous proposal or contact the original author, is not like it was that long ago in the past. How hard can it be to do a search on the forums before posting your idea?
