If you're balls deep into cryptocurrencies like i am - you've seen it all. Shitcoins with hollow systems, marketed and hyped by shills and drones, pumped and dumped to oblivion. You saw hacked exchanges like MtGox, Poloniex and Bitfinex, to name a few. You saw vulnerable Smart Contracts like the Ethereum DAO that got leaked by hundreds of millions in funds and eventually provoked a hardfork, splitting the network in two. You saw promising, stable coins getting choked off in their beginnings and in their place, huge scamcoins like 'Onecoin' being fed to the unaware people. You saw developers turning around and attacking their own teams and selling their asses off to the highest bidder.
If you're in crazy cryptoland daily for the past few years, you have seen it all. Shit gets crazier by the hour. And it's happening fast. Everything could happen at any time. Six Months in the 'real world' are two weeks in the crypto world and damn that line is getting blurry as well.
But alas, discovering cryptocurrencies it is one of the best things that has ever happened to me.
However, not all's cool. You probably already jumped ship on this or that coin - You've probably even lost quite some funds in some scams or bad calculated decisions. And the drama. Oh the drama. Watching Bitcoin develop since seven years now is one amazing show. Then the next coins popped up and got hyped: Ethereum rushing fullspeed into a future the brightest minds barely understood. But we're walking the way, hand in hand. Crypto to crypto. Margin to margin. Doing that tiny human arbitrage deal.
And as every one of those coins is an experiment in human psyche, we see a lot stuff going on that is stranger than fiction. But there are powers in this crypto world that help us out. It's the anonymous power to vote with every single transaction and make a change.
See, you don't need all the drama. You just need the right system to energize your opinion and skills. That's when I found the cryptocurrency Dash (Digital Cash). To be honest, I'm trying to not invest emotionally in something, especially if it can get wrecked within the hour. But Dash brought the zen to my crypto-game. There's just no drama in that community. I've been in their forums, slack and other platforms. They just do their tiny projects and tip each other some fine DASH just because somebody was there to answer a question.
Dash itself is privacy orientated coin and on the blockchain, although it is open, you can't trace transactions when it's send by the networks own mixing service. Also the transactions are instant. Like for real. Check out the 'InstantX' feature yourself.
And damn oh damn, the masternode network. What a lovely, lovely invention. Essentially, you can go and have a node in the system if you acquire 1000 Dash. This node will then secure the network and you can vote on proposals that get sent in by the community and you get paid for keeping the node available! So everyone that invests himself has a say on what happens next, and funds are allocated to the developers to make it happen. It's a damn fine version of democracy on the blockchain level. And it already got about 70% of the node number that Bitcoin has!
After all the Bitcoin, Ethereum and other Coin Drama this was like a fresh, cold Beer for a dried out hot summer day. And the crypto community is acknowledging it! Price per Dash is on a steady uptrend since it's humble beginnings and the Developer Roadmap is looking better than ever!
I'm looking forward to everything that is coming. If you're interested in DASH, check out these links and comment on this post!
