Many times the vote from steempress was flagged by somebody due to some technical lapses such as verification. This might have surely affected its popularity. The flagging system failed to understood that steempress is meant to have same content as other website

It was not about rating system. I tried posting two three times through my blog. Either Cheetah or spamcleaner account used to flag the same for piracy and used to provide me with the link to m own posts. Later they started system of verification, but by that time i lost lot of my rewards, it created lot of mental torture too as I was asked to go to discord and give them explanations and prove my identity. The whole purpose of using the steem anonymously gets defeated if there is verification required. Hence I stopped using steempress and i know a lot of bloggers who stopped using them due to this unwanted activity of appealing etc
