I think you are thinking of GoFundMe that stole the money from the Canadian truckers and yes they are another scumbag company. Give Send Go is a newer "Christian" alternative, at least that's how they brand themselves, but they do seem to be a better alternative generally. However, Canadian govt (Ontario Supreme Court Judge) did freeze their funds from GiveSendGo and I think they ended up refunded the donations. The Govt. was even trying to go after people's bitcoin donations and 'sanctioned' some crypto wallets, but they couldn't seize the assets in same way as they froze their bank accounts. They got some of the bitcoin but couldn't stop the flow of funding
