ⒶⒷⓇⒶⒽⒶⓂ - you cannot release a desire once it has been established

in #dailyquotes7 years ago

The trick is (it is not a trick, but a skill) the skill is, to have desires that you do not trample with doubt. When you believe you can accomplish your desire you feel wonderful. But a desire that you doubt does not feel good. And then, you sometimes say, “Well, I will just release my desire.” But you cannot, because once life has caused you to identify a desire, momentum happens. And then, the path of least resistance is to line up with the desire.

If I may, here is a lesser known story behind God's historic child and the name Abraham.
In its origin of Hebrew, Abram was his original name. We know that it is a compound of "ab - father" and "ruwm - uplifts". God's engagement as actual and genuine, wants and desires to act through Abram to increase and magnify people from different races and places.
"And I will, consistently kneel down in love, lowering Myself to bless and benefit you. And I want to consistently do great things with your name, causing it to genuinely exist as a blessed gift. (wa barak, gadal shem hayah barakah)"
Bare'syth/In the beginning/Genesis. 12:2
Abram then became Abraham, and as a result became "raham - loving, compassionate, and merciful" "ab - father". The profound thought is that the purpose is to magnify humankind.

Thank you for the wonderful description here. Was not aware of this. There are so many parallels between Christianity and these words of Abraham I post every day. Though when speaking about religion they are clear that they don't associate with any religion... which in my mind simply keeps the message open to everyone :)

The name Abraham was chosen from the depths of Esther's consciousness, most likely due to learning about him when she was younger.

Hey Sam,

But a desire that you doubt does not feel good... the path of least resistance is to line up with the desire.

A desire is like a drug, once it's established you can't stop, you can't give up, you will breathe for it... ;)
