I found something interesting Yesterday when Miro and I were coming back from his school health inspection. These things were just lying on the ground.

They look like some kind of fresnel lenses. I would guess they were from a broken smartphone.

3 different types of fresnel lenses actually.

I cut them up in squares...

...to fit the filter holder. Nice effect btw.

...and these too.

The lens looks weird now.

I really like this shot, it came out nicely.

Cutting them up in squares didn't help the quality. The one taken from the balcony is after cutting, the three previous ones were shot placing the whole "filter-lens" in front of the camera from its middle.

I guess I should've cut one square from the middle instead of two squares side-by-side.

I think this was a bit of a fail.

Maybe I can use them as light modifiers or something.
