Dahi Chicken
It’s a quick and easy spicy Chicken curry . Here in this recipe we marinate chicken in curd for about 1/2 an hour. If you have time you can marinate it for 1 -2 hours. After that cook it with Indian spices.
Ingredients:
½ kg chicken
1 cup curd/plain yogurt
1 tomato pureed
2 onions chopped
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 teaspoon garlic paste
Whole spices (1 tsp cumin, 3 cloves, 4 black peppercorn , 1 cinnamon stick, 1 black cardamom, 1 green cardamom.)
1 table spoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
¼ cup ketchup
Salt to taste
Method:
1.first of all we will marinate chicken.To marinate chicken first of all we wash chicken and then put it in a big bowl next we will add curd, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt on it and mix it very well and keep it aside to marinate for ½ an hour.
Heat frying pan, add whole spices next add chopped onion and fry till golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste; fry for 30 seconds. Add marinated chicken and fry for 2 minutes. Add tomato puree fry for 2 minutes. Add ¼ cup tomato ketchup and mix well now cover and cook for 20 minutes on low heat. remove from the heat and Sprinkle chopped coriander leafs.
Mouthwatering Dahi chicken is ready to serve. Serve with Paratha/Naan or plain Roti.
