I am in a little place called Canberra, otherwise known as the Bush Capital. It is in a little territory called the Australian Capital Territory, stuck in the middle of New South Wales.
My reference was for people who don't know where Tasmania is. Im from the Blue Mountains. Great trails in ACT so you are in a good place for MTB as well.
Love the Blue Mountains. My grandfather was post master in Mt Victoria for many years and my uncle had a place in Wenny Falls.
Sorry if I sounded a bit facetious. You know how us mainlanders are, always taking the piss, and it was too good an opportunity to pass up on.
I am not so much into biking, my lack of co-ordination would see terrible injuries as a result, I am certain. However, I do hike the bike trails, some great ones in the Brindabellas, named I am sure for the boat that won the Sydney to Hobart Yacht race. Or was it the other way around? Nah, surely not...
Already 85km of trails and more than double that planned. Tasmania is down under Australia! Beyond the Mainland and Derby is in its North East corner.
Oh, really? You consider yourself one of us ;)
