RE: Ketogenic Cycle Training | Riding Fasted

Technically, the Katy Trail is 237.7 miles and is the longest rail trail in the US. They have also now added an extension called the Rock Island Trail as a spur off of it that has added an additional 45.6 miles. We usually average about 50 miles or so per day and have done some multi-day tours with full gear (tent, food, cook kit, clothes, etc.). Our longest so far has been 250 miles or so on the Natchez Trace Parkway. As to beef jerky, sure I can eat it. I've even in the past made my own but certainly it's easier to just buy it :D

Oh wow that is awesome. So a rail trail is what a biking trail that runs near a railroad? haha sorry I am new to that term. That 250 mile adventure sounds pretty awesome!

Rail trails are old rail lines that are no longer used that are then converted to biking/hiking trails. There are many now around the US.

Ahh that is so cool! :) At some point I want to get a mountain bike. Lots of trails around here to ride on. I don't really have any interest in doing any crazy or extreme mountain biking, but just for the exercise and adventure of it.
