cyber•Fund all-in on Steem

We want to announce that we decide to move our community to Steem.

About cyber•Fund

We are building a service that helps blockchain investors to make decisions and track value of true digital assets. About 700 people has been registered and ~1k use it every day. Using our service people published their funds totaling $1.2M worth of bitcoins under their management.

That is not the only thing we do. As result of educational activities at all local conferences I do believe that we are the most well known blockchain community in Russia and Belarus.

Among funds listed on our site is our private blockchain asset management: Satoshi•Fund. It has about 800 bitcoins under management in its first investment product Satoshi•Pie. 24 people are our clients, mostly our friends. We use BitShares for accounting and easy exchange of tokens.

We have potential spin-offs. cyber•Fund Labs is experimenting with smart contract based hardware. We have working prototypes of smart socket, smart lock (yes, like Slock.it guys do) and vending machine. A drone in a process. All devices has been demonstrated at the last conferences in Moscow, Minsk and Kiev. I will write standalone post about this Ethereum based beasts soon.

Also we are continuously thinking on the issue of decentralizing our service but without yet new coin bullshit. We want to creat something meaningful and unique. We have prototype of Ethereum based framework for DAO. But it looks like that we are not ready to use it in production any time soon because of Ethereum's security issues.

Our primary focus now is to solve issues of blockchain data collection based on our evaluation methodology using blockchain technology itself. So far we evaluated private blockchain solutions such as as BigChainDB and Eris/Tenderming. But it seems now that Graphene is our way to go. It has all necessary requirements such as performance, scalability and economic layer.

Official Blog

We have quite popular niche blog on Medium with more than 1k followers: cyber•Blog. These people are very active in blockchain industry. We will publish repost of cyber•Fund monthly on Medium to get them in touch. But all new posts from the core cyber•Fund team will appear here first: @hipster, @creator, @marina, @vitaly-lvov, @valery-litvin and @tomarcafe (hope to see you here soon). All post from our core team under #cyberfund tag are considered official.

In a time we will develop (or will use if somebody deliver it) a script that will display #cyberfund feed under domain https://blog.cyber.fund.

Official Community Forum

We are shutting down cyber•Talks. For one and half year about 300 people were registered on forum and about 5k visited it but we wasn't able to bootstrap a community to a level we want. There are a lot of good content there so we will move best posts to Steem.

Since now all new posts are not allowed on cyber•Talks. We will shut down it in a month. All posts regarding our services, apps and ideas can be freely posted on Steem using #cyberfund tag.

Crypto Communities United

We are continuously working to decentralize our operations. I hope moving our community to Steem might be a good example for other projects in blockchains space. We started cyber•Talks with a goal to unite blockchain communities. Now, thanks to Steem, I do believe it is finally possible.
