Cyberbullying: The Boldness People Borrow Online.

in #cyber2 months ago

It’s funny how social media gives some people “borrowed courage.” they just type things they can't say to you in real life, forgetting there's a human being at the other end.

I recently watched a viral video of a popular influencer and an activist who exchanged blows inside a plane—yes, before the flight even took off.

This fight happened because one of them said something nasty about the other person's mother online. He felt bold behind the keyboard but couldn't f have the courage to met face to face.
Although I don't support violence, but I fell that serve him right and it would be a lesson for others to learn from.
They will learn to think before typing, respect people offline and online they will also learn that words online still have consequences.

For one thing cyberbullying can cause real emotional damage. Not very joke is funny. If you aren't comfortable with other people content you can easily unfollow, mute, or even block. Those bottoms are there for a reason.
Let’s use social media wisely and stop hiding behind screens to hurt people.

Have you witnessed cyberbullying before?

Sort:

I also heard over the radio that one of them has apologized to the entire public about that embarrassing incident.

You know that some people don't have shame at all.

Honestly they sold their same to fame.
Anything to trend on social media

One very bad aspect of Cyber Bullying is,it can lead to serious depression, especially if you don't have a thick skin to stomach it or ignore the Bully

But not every have thick skin, especially in the social place where you have the good, the bad and the ugly.People have unalived themselves because of bullies,as in they could not take it anymore.

It is good to know that at least there are laws seriously against it, which victims can explore to seek justice or restriction.

I agree with you, but I feel that law isn't applicable where I stay. Because if it was people wouldn't be so free doing stuff like bullying on the internet.
Thanks for stopping by

It is a systemic thing, the foundation is so faulty, hence you see bullies getting away with it.The corruption in the system has really eaten deep.It would take collective effort and hardwork to to put things in shape.
