I think what this post highlights is the vastness of folks not taking interest in the fundamentals of the platform. I think the mentality is that 'it will take care of itself' or 'someone else will do it and i trust that'. Complicated! From very early on i also learned of the good support of @curie to the community. That intention speaks to me too.
Credit to you for taking the time to look into what witnesses do, and @curie in particular - I'm glad you have seen that their work is positive to the community.

Well people are of course free to vote for who they wish. I have long seen @curie as a positive addition to the platform and feel they should be supported.
