Is powering up another ten or seventeen steem really going to make a impact? I used a bot once and I think I came out eleven cents ahead, someone thought that was a good return, I don't know. I don't know what getting delegation is about, I might be to controversial in some of my opinions for someone to want to give me delegation, especially if I have to join some club to get it.

For 1 Steem you could probably get 25 for 13 weeks but I would recommend not doing more than 1 Steem since you would probably not come out ahead.
So please look at this and tell me if I am doing the math right:
1 Steem = 25 Steem Power for 13 weeks or 91 days
100 Steem = 2500 SP for 91 days
400 Steem = 10,000 SP for 91 days
And...
100 SP gives me 100% upvote of 0.01
So 1000 SP = 0.10
And 10,000 SP = 100% upvote of 1.0 STU
I have ten 100% votes per day
Which equals 10.0 STU per day
X75% the author percentage
Equals 7.5 STU per day
X91 days
637+45.5=682.5 STU
682.5 STU = 50% SP + 50% Steem
So for my 400 Steem I get
341.25 Steem back plus approximately 341 SP on a 400 Steem investment.
Did I do the math correct?
Are there leases for 10,000 SP?
Or do they group leases?

About 230 Steem power is a .01 vote at 100 percent.
The math is a "bit" complicated. lol
If I did just one steem then I would come out ahead or just if I did more than one steem I wouldn't come out ahead.
I don't think 1 Steem would kill you but it seems strange to just sit on SBD and Steem and not do anything with them. It looks like you did power up some which I think makes sense. Basically you are just losing money doing that although right now it is a very small amount of money it could be a big amount of money someday especially if Steem were to ever go to the moon.
Since you are a novice I would recommend not doing more than 1 Steem to get a delegation. Delegations are generally not as good as bots at making money and delegations normally lose money but delegations are way more fun that using bots. lol
