RE: My Steemit Curation and Followings [5]

Upvoted + followed!

I just discovered you through the comment you left on this post.

As someone new to Steemit, it is really interesting to see an analytical approach to the evolution of communities.

Unfortunately, it seems that some sectors of Steemit are really bare in terms of engagement + payout, dominated by the same two or five accounts.

Have you found taking the time to invest in tags/trends is necessary to building a following?
Cheers!

Hi Stephan. Before using Steemit, I think it helps to know what you are interested in and decide to write about that. Also use the tags associated with those topics so that people can more easily find your content.

I'd say that on a scale from 1 to 10 when it comes to what's important in building a following, tags are at 3 and content quality is at 9. :)
