And thank you guys too for what you do. I misread the OP in thinking you were a part of the curation team of these platforms. Upon reading again I'm understanding that it's a separate thing 😆. That's a great initiative for the music community here - well done.

Cool. In fact, the issue with DTube and DSound is that they dont have any mechanism (yet) to prevent illegal uploads, and to entice the user to not pretend to be someone else. This may get an issue from legal point of view, but it is also an issue in the amount of abuse that is ongoing and will be ongoing in the future. Where money is, abuse it; Where earning potential increase, abuse increases. Anyway, trust you understand where I'm coming from :)

I totally agree. In fact, as a music producer - not an artist that stays within one style or genre - this problem has crossed my mind multiple times but for myself (thinking because I upload so many different genres and styles, people might assume I'm not the owner of them). Personally, I would love to see some kind of protocol set in place so as I could legitimize my work as well. It would work for both parties.

Hopefully we'll get something in place over time. Thanks for the chat!
