The new culture created in steemit media is a gift culture while looking for its own reward. By voting on someone else's post, the give will be rewarded in the form of a curation gift. This is a great culture. Giving here does not need to spend money from your ATM or your wallet, we just pick on the posts of others we like.
Such a culture needs to be ensured because it provides benefits and benefits to the giver and receiver.
I see this as a new culture that coincided with the existence of this platform, because previously there has been no media platform like @ steemit. But there is a resemblance to the concept of giving in Islam, where the giving and receiving equally get it. In the concept of implementation of zakat payments according to Islam, it appears that gives little to be given to the recipient. But in essence the giver of zakat, his property is not reduced. In the sense that he will experience an increase in his wealth and his business is more successful.and hereafter he gets a reward.
As well as upvote that we do in steemit, if we do sincerely with the intention to help others in need, then this also gets a reward in addition to getting a curation reward.
The good side of giving culture in steemit, including:
- to help ease the burden of life and the welfare of others
- to motivate creators to be compelled to create good and quality posts
