@ramengirl thank you for this article. In Germany we also wrap our kids in scarves, hats and thick clothing during the winter. Parents always want you to wear your jacket so you do not get cold...So it was very interesting to read about the Japanese perspective on that. Not sure if I will let my future kids walk barefoot through the snow, but I heard before that children have a stronger immune system than adults.
