Life is fierce in every where.
When you ‘d like to see what the life is, you need to go to the market place.
Among the market places, I strongly recommend to visit the traditional market in the center of seoul city.
The marketplace is opening at every weekend along the cheonggyecheon stream crossing through the center of Seoul city.
When I felt tired, I used to walk around there. Then I could get power to confront the difficulties which I had faced with.
I had lived my childhood in similar circumstances. We were very poor at that time. My father's business was failed, so my mom almost raised me and my brother.
Anyway, let’s get into the real life.
People were gathered into the market place.
They were bargaining on the street.
Is there something you need?
Here are everything you need.
These are not garbage but goods to sell
Why old horse saddle ?
For fishermen.
Sometimes you can find interesting stuffs.
I was interested in the old cameras, I want to buy.
But I couldn't because of my wife. Lol
I know that the market place was everywhere in the world, but this marketplace is very unique.
Time is the cruelest thing in the world.
It changes everything.
It never permit anything to stay it's place.
But this market seemed to resist against the flow of time.
When you are tired in your life, just looking around of this market place could heal your spirit.
Whenever looking around this market place, I found a young and skinny boy standing in the center of the market place with closing mouth and glittering eyes.
Looks like Mr Kesuke from the Karate kid![giphy-downsized-large.gif]

Yes it does :))))
Great post. We love this type market! It is about community and the magic of the obscure hidden bargain.
Lol
In our country we call such marketplace gikomba you can really find awesome gems if you're keen the trick is not to wear so smartly so as not to make them think you're very rich because they would overcharge you.
Great tip nairobi! We actually don't dress up to smart when going to markets. We avoid looking like tourists and try to blend in with locals.
that's right
thats great :)
hahaha
very clever
전업도 아니신데 이리 왕성하게 활동하시니
제가 부끄럽습 니다
무슨 말씀을
The market looks like a gold mine for second hand goods. Is it me or does it look like most of those items are from the 80's. Those film cameras look pretty amazing though. Should send you some SBD to pick me one up. I am in need of a new Nikon. I mean a new old Nikon. Lol Thanks again for the post, always cool to check out places and hear from people I would not get to meet in reality.
Woww such a lovely place, also great article @slowwalker, it's like i can feel the warmth of the city from your photos.
Amazing keep up the good work :)
I experienced what you described here when walking around the markets in India, mainly New Delphi, Agra, and Jaipur. It also shows the beauty of humanity: no matter how poor people are and caught up in their struggles with life, there are so many who are out there to share, to put a smile on someone's face.
Following you, with great interest.
share and smile !
what a nice life
That is something I personally love to do, when I am traveling, go to the local markets, taste the exotic fruits, chat with the people, try food sold on the streets, ask for customs .. the same way I enjoyed looking at your documentation of the market and your witty humour - I enjoyed "something you need?".
A lovely post, my friend.
I loved these lines" Time is the cruelest thing in the world. It changes everything. It never permit anything to stay it's place."
I agree that time seems to take away many of the precious things in our lives, but each new day brings something new as well - like your trip to the market - it's a tiny world in itself, that as you said, seems to resist time.
One of our Canadian songwriters wrote, "There's something gained and something lost from living every day." I can see your day was not a loss - you found peace and joy in the market place. Have a pleasant evening, my friend :)
Thank you so much
I look forward to your posts each day :)
I thought the 3rd picture was the steemit logo on the back wall when I first looked lol....Very nice pictures. I have just added a new location on my bucket list.
hahaha
welcome to korea anytime
Interesting posts, I've also felt the same thing, but I visited the market to see people's lives, in terms of art and culture and so on, and it makes me happy.
That's right
I love to explore the markets in Asian countries. There is so much to see, smell and taste - it definitely never gets boring.
The way that everything is laid out on the different stands, electronics next to textiles, next to fruit next to fish ... there's something for everyone!
You already know this kinds of place very well.
Nice post @slowwalker :) would love to visit Korea once :)
You need to
I love this type of old things market as you can find some very useful in very reasonable price. and in poor country these markets are more popular.
Nice post @slowwalker
There are many types of bracelets for sale at the souvenir shop's desk in your pic. Are they traditional bracelets?.
Because I was interested with that bracelets :)
mixed
somewhere traditional
somewhere not
hey! nice pictures! which country is that? :)
Hahaha
Korea
Looks overcrowded.. We have a similar market place in my hometown and its madness in the weekends.. Even has more people on more closed space.
And most of the time it's an onslaught of grannies.
Anyways, cheers and much love from me.

Thank you so much
When I went, there were bowl-cut's as far as the eye could see!
👍
thank you for sharing
great day at the market. looks like you had fun
Thank you so much
You see almost the exact same markets in the Philippines. People that have never been to third world countries really have no clue what is going on outside their world. People at these markets depend on the markets for their existence and whether they will eat tonight.
People in the rest of the world need to experience these kinds of markets and see how the people survive. Great post, I'm new to steem it and just getting started. I\m following you.
Thank you so much
I like that old camera, if I'm there I'll buy it. The lens is very good when combined with DSLR camera
Life is even worse in the third world countries some in Asia and Africa! However, richness can also make life even much worse if you unconsciously don't realize where you are!
Great post as usual from @slowwalker
I blog quite a bit about China and Cyprus, I would be happy if you would check it out. Hopefully vote and follow as well :)
Congratulations on your success ! You are doing Steemit and social media right. Good to have you on board and we look forward to more of your writing and posts.
Nice Article ... , seems like you can buy anything in this market...
I see often in my city this kind of street sells!!! Is fun. Many things, mostly old can be found!
Markets are really the best place to get the true understanding of a new place when travelling, thanks for sharing
Well thats life :) i really wanna be there in your country hope someday
It's great to see the hustle and bustle of the marketplace and I hope life now is easier than when you were a child :)
Hustling and bustling is the major characteristics in the Nigerian marketplace and trust me when i say, life isn't getting easier. It is tougher out here.
Very nice written
Your Article deserves a steemit oscar
Yes, i'll take the dream-catchers please! :P
You know, it's always the people with a hard childhood who truly understand the value of success and money and still remain humble and generous!
I loved the post! The market looks amazing!

As you age , life will not get easier. Rich or poor , we will have our own kinds of problem. The best solution which is the impossible, remain as a child or teenager. No major responsibilities. Enjoy life(especially your childhood) as it will pass by fleetingly
Not going to lie, some of those pictures immediately reminded me of South-Africa. Most of the times the vendors' (next to the street) stuff looks like that. All messy and just lying around
It could be.
Living is not different at anyplace
ah! I love The marketplace! Thanks, have a nice day my friend!
Thank you
Loved the old horse saddel ...
Nice post man :)
it's good place for swellmob and poors. You can buy cheap and useful items . Such places are every where in our country and very crowded these days because of EID :)
good story and glad life is better for you than when you grew up
Some poetic thoughts you have about how powerful the market place is, I really liked this. Some of the photos are a little busy but there's some great ones in there!! Keep it up dude.
Thank you so much
Very nice look into the Korean street market, almost feels just like my country of Taiwan! Those old cameras look neat too :)
Great article. I remember when I was little, I used to go with my grandma to the marketplace . I don't know why, I just felt it was fun.
In India our markets mostly get poplar during weekends so they are called sunday markets as that is the only day we will get to enjoy the life :)
Good traditional market
Wooooh !!!
I visited soul in November 2014. I would have loved to see this.... real market place !
