While walking on the street, I saw the Korean Traditional Costumes along the corridor.

It was really pretty and nice, so I’d like to put it on.

In fact, several years ago I had put on that traditional clothes at home.
It was very convenient.

But I don’t know the reason why contemporary Koreans are not putting on traditional clothes, on the contrary Japanese are adoring to put on their Kimono in daily life.

Korean traditional costumes are not only beautiful but also elegant.

I was looking at Korean traditional costumes for a long time, at that time owner of this shop told me “May I help you ?”.

So I told him I was looking at those clothes because of it’s beauty.

He invited me inside and explained about the Korean traditional clothes.

The traditional clothes were essential in wedding ceremony, so I had mind too.

I took the photos of the traditional clothes.

Some of them are modernized in style.
I think it was an interesting try for those clothes to be reinterpreted in various ways.

What do you think the Korean traditional costume ?

The Japanese have a strong attachment to their culture, same can be said of the Chinese, but as for the Koreans they seemed to have lost most of their cultural values t western civilization. Nice collections of fabrics for a once cultured people. Thanks @slowwalker

The Korean designs shown here reflect certain Shamanistic elements.

Quite an educative post. Nice pictures, good story. Keep it up. I follow and upvote you, pls. Do same for me.

I love traditional custumes Wow very nice thank you for sharing

Simple fashion and yet very appealing garments. We also have traditional clothing and traditional costumes, which are worn on special occasions.

Just got back from living in SK . If you ever go and visit the major temples, you would usually see a lot of girls dressed in the original costumes taking pictures.

i love korea <3. Im Vietnamese. Do you know?

me encantaron estas fotos, estan espectaculares!

you forgot the mention the most important thing.. hanboks were based on chinese clothing during one of their dynasties (i cant remember exactly which at the moment) but it's true. look it up if you dont believe me
