Why am I happy at work? :)
Every third week or sometimes second week we have the national culture day of the certain country in the office.
The thing is that we are a very diverse team of 150 employees from 42 countries and if we have 5 or more representatives of the same country we get to host the national day in the office for the whole day.
We do it to celebrate the diversity in the office and love to each nation (one of my fav things about Mindvalley)
The culture day, I am sharing today about is #India #Culture #Day.
The first thing you notice in the culture day is the beautifully decorated office, that makes you feel as if you are in that very country.
In India day the guys who orginized the whole thing went nuts, they went so beyond and had a very busy agenda for the whole day.
- 10:00 - 11:00 am - Indian Breakfast
- 12:30 - 2:00 pm - Indian Lunch
- 02:00 - 3:45 pm - Henna for our beautiful ladies
- 3:30 - 4:00 pm - Masala Tea & Samosa
- 3:00 - 4:30 pm - Photobooth
- 5:00 - 6:30 pm - India Day Celebration at the company report
When do I work, I was wondering, but it was so worthy!
The whole day was full of joy and laughter and food, that I felt never finished.
Will share more fun things - 4-Step Proven Formula To Bulletproof Yourself & Have A Blast India Culture day from the orginizers:
#1. Go easy on the Naan/Parathas
Some people destroy Parathaas/Naans like there is no tomorrow. This will be the biggest cause of your crash after lunch, which is totally fine as we will get you Home made Chai to wake you out of it soon after 😉 But you have been warned.
More importantly there are many meals we will be serving (Breakfast, lunch, tea time, drink time). If you eat too much on the first one. Well, you will not enjoy the others.
So moto of the day, try EVERYTHING. But don't get too emotional with it.
#2. Dance to the Indian Music
When Indian music plays, your shoulders start to move involuntarily.
Enjoy the music and don't be scared to break into a bollywood dance. We don't mind. We will join you every time and we will have a special presentation for you in the evening to get you started ;)
#3. Take a Lot of pictures
This is the day when everyone will be their fanciest king/Queen self, so be sure to capture these moments with everyone, these memories will last a long time and as your Profile pictures :)

#4. Be playful & have fun!
With a country of 1.3 Billion, life can be a little competitive and stressful. So as Indians, we find fun & joy in whichever situation we are put in. This is one of the things that will reflect in India Day for all of you. So bring your most fun self, bring out all your inner randomness and mischiefs, and let’s share lots of laughter and memories together.
