Hello Steemian friends,
The topic of culture in the world is so diverse. There are so many cultures all around the world with different beliefs cultural and attires.
Today specifically, I will take the opportunity to introduce to you the Banyankole cultural wear in Uganda East Africa.
Among the many beautiful aspects of our culture is the traditional wear called "esuti" in our local language. It represents the humility of the Banyankole women.
It is made up of a short sleeveless dress, usually knee length and a cloth about two meters that is used to cover up the back and abit of the shoulders. Beneath the short dress a long wrapper skirt is worn usually of different material and color that blends with the color of the dress.
This attire is usually worn at functions and traditional wedding ceremonies and can be worn with jewellery to spice up the look.
There are so many cultures in the world with different traditional wears. Kindly tell me about yours.
