Udeung Acid or Shrimp Acid is a typical Acehnese food, one of Aceh's cultural heritage.
A refreshing and delicious flavor with warm rice.
The basic ingredients of Udeung Acid are fresh shrimp and wuluh belimbing fruit, plus fresh red onion and a little salt if the shrimp used are not yet salted.
Udeung acid is not exactly said to cook because if the shrimp used is ebi (kecepe / sabee) or dried shrimp, it is more accurately referred to as udeung acid raw sauce. unless the shrimp is in use is fresh boiled shrimp. it's up to you to use which one, because there are several ways to make it, the main ingredient remains the type of shrimp and star fruit.
