life's Curveball's . . .
About 10 days ago, I tried to make a post and got a "network timeout error".
OK, I can deal. Go upvote some posts, come back later. Good plan, didn't work. Same error message.
After a couple days, I posted on @jongolson CTP Discord about it. He mentioned some ongoing API issues, and to try changing that. Same Same.
Since I'm in Thailand, I thought maybe it was my phone causing it. Upgraded my plan, and for some reason I could get upvotes and really short comments to work once in a while, but not posting.
Still not sure what the problem was, but hey, it works now!
Meanwhile, In Issan . . .
It was about as normal as it gets for a farang! Extended my visa another 30 days, tried to stay somewhat cooler as the heat index climbed, and killed a few more snakes by the house.
I did stop by a rocket festival:
I missed most of it, but that was "the big one" everyone waited for. Watch out Elon, these Thai farmers can build one hell of a rocket!
Hopefully I'm back on track. Might even post something worth reading soon!
Always remember that no matter what happens, the journey isn't over unless YOU quit. Sometimes, all you need is a little patience (something I usually suck at)!

I've heard about those rocket festivals and seem some crazy videos of some of the contraptions that these people create. I"m a bit envious that you got to see it with your own eyes!
It was interesting. Wish now I had been there for the entire display. The local people in these smaller villages can certainly put on one hell of a show!

Oh hey, about your timeout errors. I don't think this is necessarily a fixall but sometimes when I get the red warning of network timeouts I just switch my VPN to another country and it goes away. It's worth a try anyhow.
