Life: Meeting Responsibilities vs Fulfilling Dreams

in #ctp3 years ago

After taking our first breath in this world we enter a never-ending socialization process. By this, we learn how we have to interact with others. It teaches us about people. At a stage, we understand we can’t survive without the help of others. So we need to prioritize them, their feelings, fulfill their demands, doing things that make them happy. But while doing this we forget our existence. We rarely focus on ourselves. The crying sound of our inner self misses the path of our hearts.

Socialization is a package of learning responsibilities. We have responsibilities to our families, relatives, and friends. Responsibilities make us busy. We become busy with study. After that, we look for a job. The job takes precious time from our life. Life goes by doing all these things. But when is the time we focus on ourselves? Many of us think focusing on ourselves will make us selfish. But is it true?

We, like everyone else on the earth, have the right to do whatever we want to do with life. One may be asking how to concentrate on yourself. That doesn't define someone as a selfish person; it simply means you have to fight for it. Assume your life aim is to be an excellent parent. To do that, we can’t take care of our kids 24/7. Although we’re going to have to spend time cleaning up after them sometimes, we can’t support them without a stable career. You can't educate kids on how to manage their mental health if you don't look after your own. Before you can offer your best to others, you must first sort out your priorities and learn to remind yourself, "Focus on yourself is crucial." And, once again, it must be consistent: Your objectives may change, which is OK because it is part of focusing on what you truly desire. What is not acceptable is focusing on others at the expense of yourself.

So how can focus on himself? Let’s talk about some ways which can help us to achieve our goals.

Get a college degree, a high-paying job, and ascend in your profession. The typical concept of success may appeal to many people, but it may not be acceptable for you. "What does the life I actually seek look like?" ask yourself. It is your obligation to create a life vision. You don't have to be an expert in every detail, but you should be able to paint the big picture. Assume you work in healthcare and want to take a move in a different direction without entirely changing your profession. You might begin by researching online programs that will allow you to obtain certificates without having to return to school for another degree. There is no such thing as a "good" or "bad" dream. All that matters is that you're willing to put in the effort.

You must put forth the effort one way or another. Writing abilities do not develop on their own. An absent parent does not build strong families. The good news is that you don't have to achieve everything right away to start feeling good about where your objectives are heading. Divide your ambitions into tiny, achievable chunks. If reading a craft book is holding you back from becoming a freelance writer, start by reading simply 10 pages every day. That's 300 pages—a full-size book—in a month. How does learning the freelance writing industry in a month sound?

You've been advised to avoid your triggers, but it isn't the best advice when it comes to figuring out how to zero in on yourself.
How will you grow as a person if you avoid each preliminary?
If you truly want to focus on yourself, you must tackle your triggers.
Let's say your heart is set on serving in a leadership role.
If you want to reach your goal, you will do things that may frighten you, such as speak in public, say no to people, accept personal attacks, and work with people that you can't help but disagree with.
Keep in mind that once you are tried, you develop the most.
Setting oneself up for failure is putting yourself in peril.

By doing these things, at the same time, we can follow our dreams and meet our responsibilities. So why don’t we focus on ourselves? Being focused on your career will help you to fulfill your dreams. Let’s celebrate our life.
