CreateTheFlow (Writing Prompt Contest)- Week #1

Greetings Fellow Steemians!!!

I am hosting my very first writing prompt mini-contest to help spark the creative writing flow for Steemians, which I am calling CreateTheFlow Writing Prompt Contest.

I cannot count the times that I have been at a standstill because of writer's block. For many of us there are days when nothing is flowing. A writing prompt can often be the solution to keep us writing consistent quality content.

I have decided to call this a mini- contest, since I am a tiny minnow and don't have much steem.

Therefore for week one:

the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive, 1 SBD each. + an equal split of the upvotes.

You may choose from Prompt One or Prompt Two:

Writing Prompt One:

The Genre is Science Fiction - You have been given the Command of a Star Ship

You need to decide the following:
A. The name of your Starship
B. What type of Starship is it Passengers on a mission,a battleship or a Cargo ship with a limited crew
C. What Year is it
D. What is your place of origin, nationality, species. And is your crew a mixed race or the same.
E. Where Are You? Are you just leaving home Headquarters or are you floating around in the galaxies? If you are in space exactly what is your location
F. What is your mission and how long will you be on it? Will you always be leaving headquarters or exploring space or will you be visiting other galaxies and solar systems.
G. As your story begins what is taking place.
H. Now Tell your story in no less than 500 words, no more than 1500 words.

Writing Prompt Two

Write a story or poem, (Fiction) or (Non-Fiction)- 500- 1500 words using one of the words from the following Word Prompt

Your prompt is a word, choose one:

Choice One: Transformation
Choice Two: Crypto-Rich
Choice Three: Breakthrough

Writing Prompt Three

This prompt is called 'free falling' because you are free to choose, from wherever life takes you in a moment of your day. Write about something that got your attention, made you angry, made you cry, made you rethink, caused you to pray, or maybe something that made you laugh uncontrollably, etc.
-It may be an event that gets your attention
-A Color that keeps popping up everywhere you go
=A Word
-A Song or Music , you may write about how it makes you feel

-Once your post is up, please come back to this post and comment with a link to your entry. (Links Only, Please) Entries that do not follow this step may be overlooked
-Upvote this post
-Resteem this post which will help spread the word about Createtheflow ~Writer's Prompt Contest
-Follow all instructions listed whether you choose Prompt 1 or 2 above

This contest will begin Wednesday- 9/20/17 - Submissions will be due no later than, Wednesday 9/27/17- midnight est.
-Winners will be announced and payouts will be sent out no later than Friday 9/29/17
