How long is it going to be before Poloniex accepts IOTA?

IOTA suddenly moves up to No7
How long it will stay there I do not know but IOTA is on the move

I have been sending a tweet to Poloniex everyday to get then to put IOTA on their exchange.
I dont  know how long they can hold off, they must surely be considering it.
Come on Poloniex, make it easier for people outside the US to invest !

Hi @arthuradamson where are you man? Missing you!

Hi jawad09, thank you for your concern. I have been hacked and needed time to get my life back in order. It seems many have been hacked so I was just one of many. I will be posting a blog about it in a day or so to give people a warning. Hackers have got their attention on cryptocurrency and we all need to be more careful with security. Good to hear from you my good friend

great idea

wow! :)

What exchanges currently carry IOTA that you know of?

Bitfinex trades in iota. But personally I dont wanna trade there. Seem to be alot of complaints on them. :/
So waiting for one of the more trusted exchanges to accept iota. Hope to catch the wave without having to go crazy on the risk spectrum.

Binance and Bitfinex are the main two but I have been petitioning Poliniex for ages now lol they must be sick of me ha ha. However, there are new exchanges coming soon which are really going to change everything.
The problem is I want people to be able to get some IOTA now before it goes too high. I was not expecting IOTA to move up until late December.
When I saw IOTA was making big business deals I had a feeling there would be a rise in the price.

Almost thinking I might want to just trade someone bitcoin for IOTA to get some to hold. Even $500 worth just to have some.

I would love to buy some iota, but my budget is considerably low being a poor bastard, so going into exchanges with bad rep is to high risk when I dont got much of risk capital. If a couple of hundred $ wasnt a big deal I wouldnt mind to gamble on an exchange but as it is now i kinda have to wait for like kraken/bitstamp/poloniex to consider iota. :/

Stay away from Binance. I transferred my IOTA there and one millionth the actual amount showed up. They are of little to no help and they are Chinese, which means that first they probably don't understand my request, and secondly they don't give a $%*!

Super! Let's see how long IOTA will stay.

Thanks alot my true friend @arthuradamson for your sincere efforts to promote IOTA.
Unfortunately, I'm still unable to get a verified account at bitterex, poloniex etc. Price of IOTA is gradually going up and I can't invest 😢😭. Can you help me in this regard @arthuradamson. I have 20 SBD in my wallat which I want to invest in IOTA. Thanks in advance.

A lot of exchanges are probably holding off integrating IOTA because it's not a block-chain.

Hi Arthur,
I'm having issues opening my IOTA wallet, it just won't open. I notice there information on their blog about some work they've done. It doesn't make sense to me as to what I have to do. I've download the new wallet but it's still not working and it says not to use your old password, so how can you open it?
Do you know anything about this?

Thanks! :)

Hi Michelle. Sorry to hear you are having problems with your IOTA wallet.
Some questions first: You said "password" did you mean "seed" (which works as a password and should be many many letters long- I think it is 81 letters long and will have a number 9 in there somewhere )

Secondly - how did you store it? - do you type it in or copy and paste it?

Just to reassure you - if you have the "old seed password" then your IOTA are still there on the tangle and not lost. Only if you lose your "seed password" are then lost.
OK get back to me ASAP with that info and then we can go from there.

Hi Arthur, Thanks for your reply and help, most appreciated.
Yes I mean the seed, it is 81 letters long with a 9.
I was copying and pasting but decided to try and type it in after you asked.
This is what I get - it just whirrs (little cog going round and round) and doesn't log in.
I was assuming that if I had my seed then my coins were safe, so I'm not in major panic, but great to hear that from you and so pleased to have your help! :)

Update - it's finally let me in, but I have a zero balance, so I guess it's step 2 on that article now!

Next Update. I clicked the wrong button and got logged out and so managed to log in and my balance is showing now!! All very weird, but pleased it's all there!
So I assume I can carry on as normal with the same seed etc?

Thanks again for your support.

So glad to hear everything is well now Michelle - great news.
These little problems are just because IOTA is so new- I mean it is the best crypto technology in the world right now (by far)

  • I read that there are only about 5 people in the world who actually understand the math behind the tangle ha ha ha - so that means it is early days. It was made made using quantum resistant technology, that means it CANNOT be hacked - this is the very reason why I am in favour of it.
We, who use IOTA, are are all pioneers.
The thing is, the more that sign up to the Tangle the better the system becomes. I becomes more resilient to attacks and it runs faster. This is the very opposite to Bitcoin and it is why it is inevitable that IOTA will win out in the end.
Best wishes for the weekend glad things turned out well : )

Thanks Arthur, me too! :)

It's a bit freaky with new technology, especially when you don't understand the jargon! I get that there will be teething problems with new technology and sounds like this was because of an error or potential hack, so great that they are taking the action to keep everyone's funds safe.

I can see and feel that Tangle will be a huge success and I'm so pleased to have coins so early on, so big thanks for that!

It's up to $0.86 now, so onwards and upwards! Have a great weekend too! :)

Hey Arthur, you've been quiet for a while? Everything ok? what happened to your fb? :O
