@inhuman such a rabbit hole isn't this? I got started with mining first. I haven't tried arbitrage yet.

I can only speak about my noob experiences. Unfortunately i joined the crypto world recently, so mining isnt really feasible for me
it's still feasible. You need to look at the penny stocks. I'm dual mining Sia and Ethereum. I can get hundred of Sia a day and all I need is for it to move cents for me to make money on it.
That sounds interesting. What miner are you using? Whats your hash rate? I nly have access to CPU resources at the moment so might be hard to get a decent amount of coin
I have a 6 card RX 480 rig that I built @inhuman. I'm getting about 120 MH/s with Ethereum and an additional 1800 MH/s for Sia. The ETH difficulty is extremely high and not worth mining Im believe unless you are investing in three or four rigs. I'm keeping my eyes on the Siacoin variety that I can pull higher hash rates on and get hopefully higher returns in the long run.
With the way Sia is moving currently, I'm sure that will be very feasible for you! You have actually inspired me to want to build my own rig, just need to find the time to make it happen now :)
best cards appear to be the 480s if you can get your hands on them. It is a bit of a learning curve. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions @inhuman. Make sure you have a structure built from wood (or another nonconductive material) to house the rig in, metal tends to short the circuits and cause sparks to fly... learned that one the hard way lol!
thanks for the tip dude. I will definitely get in touch when I get around to building it. At the moment my focus is on building an algorithmic bot trader, I should be done with it in a month or so and then probably look into mining. Thanks for the structural tip... better to learn from your experience than experience that myself lol
You can check this site out for arbitrage opportunities between reputable exchanges. https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Arbitrage
But always make sure the wallets work. Im in a situation where im stuck at the moment
awesome thanks @cryptotrading will do!
