Russian president Vladimir Putin has announced Russia's official cryptocurrency 'CryptoRuble'.
- It will be controlled and maintained by authorities.
- It will not be mined.
- CryptoRuble can be exchanged with regular Rubel.
- Illegal possession will cause 13% tax deduction.
A few days ago Russia was talking about banning bitcoin completely. But CryptoRuble is one step closer to embracing cryptocurrency. This is a positive sign for cryptoworld.
And so it begins the end of governments as we know it.
