Trade cryptocurrencies like Bittrex, Bitfinex, Kraken and Etherdelta

This is the most sacred thing I can share with you

It's not a secret that usually big players make money on the market. Big players on cryptomarkets are those who hold 10-100 millions tokens of altcoins. For example 10 millions OMG is 90 million dollars, or 100 millions of Steemit is 100 millions dollars.

Big players doesn't play momentum, they can't afford it due to the fact that daily trading volume is limited, and big market buy or sell does change the price considerably. Usually big players use fundamentals to trade and wait at least few months. Cryptomarket now is still young, 300 bln capitalization is still nothing compare to trillions in NYSE or NASDAQ. So institutional money is still not here. So we can make something from it.

shows that biggest token holders now are currency exchanges Bittrex, Bitfinex, Etherdelta, Poloniex, Kraken. Due to publicity of this info (blockchain privilege), we can track their investments.

You can really see when exchanges take longs, when they add tokens, when they sell and get out of positions. We - small traders with accounts below 10-50K can really get insider information from them.
Currently their accounts hold tokens, which are estimated from 10-20 millions to 1-2 billions.

Let me explain the way i do this analysis. Below is the screen of Bittrex altcoins for the date 27th of NOV 2017

Bittrex now has more than 100 altcoins, estimated at 685mln usd. Major dollar positions are OMG (187 mln dollars) and POWR (66 mln dollars). Both of them now strongly long.
What's interesting is that on the 25th of October portfolio of Bittrex was estimated at about 500 mln dollars. So they really make money.

Here is my way to track their positions. I've my own Excel table to track their positions (on 3 days basis). Red is biggest change through time (sorry, some parts are written in russian)

Usually I track top 5 tokens the exchange holds, and observe the pattern with a period of 2 to 5 days.
For example,
5 mln, 6 mln, 10 mln - exchange accumulates position
15mln-13 mln-10 mln - exchange partially gets out of position.
