Recently bitcoin machines have been popping up in casinos in Las Vegas
This is a huge step for cryptocurrencies becoming mainstream.
Now you can't actually gamble with the bitcoins as of yet but you can pay for hotel stays, restaurants and gift shop items. The only problem is, because of the scarcity of such services involving bitcoin, to use these services you are subjected to some steep fees.
Overall I believe it is a step in the right direction for cryptocurrencies and I cannot wait to see how it progresses from here. Who knows, maybe 20 years down the road there will be a bitcoin ATM on every corner and you can take a short walk down the road to turn your bitcoins in to cold hard cash. Wouldn't that be fucking brilliant. For now, however, you will have to travel to LA for an experience even remotely close to that.
