Well, just to give a "little" positive comment, I must say that I never had any issues of any kind using poloniex.
But I can't say the same for some of my friends. Some had to wait 3 weeks for a transaction to get done, and others are still wating for their account to be verified (for over 3 weeks as well...)
IMO, it's more like a problem of business scalability, meaning that they don't manage to hire people fast enough to comply to the overwhelming ongoing demand created by the crypto craze. Proof is, they recently had to turn off the trollbox in order to have moderators helping dealing with issues of all kind, instead of moderating a pretty useless chat (as of late).
Anyway, I don't work for them, that's just my opinion...

It's BS.
They are the biggest exchange in the world, they make tons of money, the scaling issues and their excuses are weak.
I've said it before too.
I hear what you say, and that was just my guess.
Even if you "said it before", please allow me to express my feeling on the subject.
Plus, I don't know if you ever ran a business in your life, but personally I did, 3 times in my life, and I am still right now, not to mention in web hosting services, so I can tell about technical issues. And believe me, from the inside, nothing is as easy as it seems from the outside, the "customers' point of view".
I'm not criticizing what you posted, obviously not, just trying to give a different perspective.
